As we begin a new week, I would love for us to take a moment and let go of all worries. Just relax and trust the universe. Over this past weekend, I had moments of worry, and although the moments were short, I began to think about the future and the different measures that I could possibly take to help in cultivating an ease-filled outcome. Then, I realized that I needed to stop. I cannot control what will happen, but I can always have an intention for the best possible outcome and just relax by leaving the details up to the universe.
“You are here to enable the divine purpose of the Universe to unfold. That is how important you are!” -Eckhart Tolle
The teachings of Eckhart Tolle is always a reminder to be present. Life is occurring in the present moment – right now. When we worry, the worry is a form of fear in connection with something in the future. Even the simplest form of worry, such as where will you live in the future or will I get a specific job in the future, reflects a form of fear. The action of worrying does not change any occurrence, but it does create an unpleasant experience. As mentioned in previous posts, we want to reach for “feeling good” energy in any experience.
As a person who used to worry about every single thing, I have learned to step away from the worriedness. Although I have my moments of quick bursts of worry, I try to remember that the universe has my back and that my trust in the universe will activate “the divine purpose of the universe.” To help relax and let go of worries, I would love to share some suggestions:
- Take A Deep Breath
When you feel worries creep in, take a deep breath. By taking a deep breath, this action allows you to connect with your inner being, which is a great form of self-stabilization. In addition, the connection to the breath creates the ability to ground yourself.
- Meditate to Release Worries
After taking a deep breath, I recommend meditating for several minutes to create roots of your connection and solidify your groundedness. My form of meditation consists of finding a quiet area, sitting on the floor, placing my hand on my heart, and feeling myself breathing in and out. Then, I silently (sometimes aloud) tell myself that “I am well. All is well. I trust the Universe.” This specific action creates a sense of comfort and inner peace.
- Reflect and Express Gratitude
Gratitude is a great way to reflect on goodness throughout your life. It allows you to see how you were able to let go of worries, trust the universe, and still enjoy moments of peace, love, and happiness. I like to think that the more we express gratitude, the more beautiful moments will happen in our lives.
Let us relax and not worry – just trust the universe. Thank you for reading this week’s post. I look forward to your contribution to the conversation.
With Euphoric Love and Gratitude,
